The national food collectionat Delhaize for the benefit of the Belgian Food Banks took place from 5 to 25 November. € 244,107 was collected, which means no less than 77,000 meals !
The Fédération Belge des Banques Alimentaires wants to thank Delhaize and hopes that next year, after this health crisis, they will be able to count on the full commitment of volunteers again and therefore on a result similar to those achieved in previous years!
In the context of the food collection, Kellogg Belgium also decided to join forces with Delhaize on November 14. The leader in breakfast cereals offered to the Food Banks the equivalent of its sales of cereal boxes made on November 14 in Delhaize supermarkets, through an action called “1 packet bought = 1 packet offered to Food Banks”.
