The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has awarded the “Premios Alimentos de España 2019”, which recognize the work carried out by companies and professionals in producing, offering and disseminating Spanish quality food, as well as their contribution to the development of the Spanish food sector in a sustainable and efficient way.
In this 32nd edition, the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) has been awarded the extraordinary prize. This recognizes the extraordinary work that the Food Banks carry out on a daily basis and, especially, that they have carried out during the state of alarm caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
