The European Commission adopted a summary report on the implementation of the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived in 2018 based on the reports submitted by the Member States. In 2018 an estimated 12.6 million people benefited from FEAD food assistance, 1 million received basic material assistance and 39,000 benefited from social inclusion support.
Children count for 29% of those who received food, basic material or social inclusion assistance.
