On 22 and 23 November 2023, incoming FEBA CEO Esteban Arriaga and Fundraising Officer Anna Dekker spent two days in the Netherlands, visiting the local Food Bank and social supermarket in Arnhem, followed by a visit to the Voedselbanken Nederland HQ in Houten to learn more about the work of the federation. The purpose of the visit was to gather knowledge on the activities of Food Banks and the Dutch Federation and to identify opportunities to intensify the collaboration with FEBA.
Voedselbanken Nederland is comprised of 176 Food Banks, has 10 regional distribution centres, and is serviced entirely by volunteers. A big thank you to Tom Hillemans and the team for such a warm welcome.
