From 17 to 18 April 2024 the FEBA Fundraising and Partnerships team had the opportunity to visit the London office of our UK member, FareShare UK to chat all things fundraising and partnerships.
Highlights included 1:1 meetings with members of the Fareshare fundraising team, lunch at the Abbey Centre in Westminster, a social enterprise where all profits go support their community programme (best Lasagne ever), and a visit to SOFEA/Fareshare food redistribution centre in Milton Keynes where we were learnt about the education and employability programmes for school leavers run alongside the Fareshares food distribution programme (we were even put to work sorting fresh beetroot at the warehouse)!
A special thank you to Tom Beardmore for pulling together a fantastic programme and to the Fareshare team for welcoming us so warmly. We left feeling super inspired by all the amazing work taking place.
