FEBA kicks off fifth year of Data Collection and Digital Transformation Project

On 18 February, FEBA launched the fifth year of its Data Collection and Digital Transformation project with an online Kick-off meeting attended by 31 participants, including representatives from 21 FEBA Member organisations. The session showcased the project’s progress and set out ambitious plans for the year ahead.

A key highlight was the unveiling of improvements to FEBA’s online data collection platform, demonstrated in a live walkthrough. These updates will facilitate improvements and clarity around data quality, as well as helping members to enter their data more efficiently. This year, FEBA is taking a major step forward by committing to undertaking a deeper analysis of the data and increasing its dissemination. Insights from past and current data will support policy, advocacy, and fundraising efforts for the network, while also tracking progress toward key environmental and social goals.

The 2024 data collection campaign is now open until 15 March. After validation, review and analysis, FEBA will share findings at its Annual Convention in June. By strengthening data-driven decision-making, FEBA continues to empower food banks to drive positive change at both national and European levels.
