At the 2022 Awards Gala “Develop Sustainable Romania”, the award for the Climate Action programme went to LIDL Romania, founding partner of Federația Băncilor pentru Alimente din România. Like anything sustainable, sustainability is the result of a joint effort and for this reason Lidl Romania decided to give this recognition to the Federația Băncilor pentru Alimente din România, as a partner in efforts to prevent food waste.
All the Food Bankers from Banca pentru Alimente Bucuresti, Roman, Cluj, Oradea, Brasov, Timișoara, Constanța, Craiova, and Galați are the protagonists of this public recognition. They are the ones who every day build Sustainable Good.
