On 19 February 2025, FEBA participated in the online meeting of the ESF+ Community of Practice on Material Support (CoP on MS).
This event explored the European Union’s strategies and objectives for reducing poverty and promoting social inclusion. It focused on how to leverage synergies between the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and other EU initiatives. The discussion also highlighted the connections between ESF+ and the European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR), the European Child Guarantee, and the upcoming EU Anti-Poverty Strategy. Participants discussed strategies to maximise ESF+ contributions to breaking the cycles of poverty.
During the meeting, FEBA presented its position on the upcoming EU Anti-Poverty Strategy and engaged in discussions with representatives from the European Commission (DG EMPL) and other civil society organisations active in the field.
