On 29 November the annual Lithuanian Food bank “Maisto bankas” Charity Concert “PasiDalink” was held live on TV. The live broadcast lasted for three and a half hours, with a crowd of two thousand volunteers and the most famous Lithuanian singers encouraging people to donate. The viewers had the opportunity to hear touching stories of the people supported by “Maisto bankas”, and even the long-standing hosts of the concert were in tears during the live broadcast.
During the Charity Concert “PasiDalink”, people donated a record amount of 241 000 euros. This is the highest number of donations in the 13 years of the initiative’s existence.
