Fédération Belge des Banques Alimentaires / Belgische Federatie van Voedselbanken has recently published a memorandum ahead of the anticipated federal and regional elections in June 2024. The primary focus of this initiative is rooted in the belief that every citizen should have access to adequate and healthy nutrition.
The key points outlined in the memorandum include addressing the reduction in the ESF+ budget, promoting food donations, collaborating with Food Banks to combat food waste, supporting local food aid organisations, and leveraging the societal value of Food Banks.
