Maisto bankas, the Lithuanian Food Bank is currently working 24/7 to help Ukraine as much as they can by providing food aid to soldiers and civilians still remaining in Ukraine, and also to Ukrainians arriving in Lithuania.
The Food Bank has already brought 10 vans (cargo) of food and water to Ukraine, thanks to the help of various companies. They also distribute food packages to all Ukrainians arriving in Lithuania. Until now, they have already distributed over 3,000 of them.
More than 1,200 new volunteers joined the organisation and all of them are doing an amazing job. They are on duty 24/7 at the Registration Centers, welcoming people of Ukraine with food, coffee and tea.
Maisto bankas is an official partner of the state of Lithuania and the Food Bank will continue working and providing help and support to the Ukrainians.
