With IKEA restaurants closed for a long time in Belgium, the company ended up with stocks of food that they couldn’t serve to their customers. They decided to contact the Belgian Federation of Food Banks to offer to donate this food.
Thanks to this collaboration, 535,515 kilos of food were given, from which 1,262,560 meatballs. The equivalent of 100,000 meals were donated to the most disadvantaged people.
